Private for Heronstrike) The newly made warrior sighed tiredly as she stretched her stiff muscles from sleep. She hardly had time to loo around her surroundings before falling asleep. And because she hasn't made era elf a nest last night her muscles had grown stiff. She muttered under her breath and shoo herself to wake up fully before her blue eyes looked around the warriors den. A small smile crept onto her face. She and Heronstrike were now warriors! Unbelievable. She sighed contently and rested her head on her paws. And looked outside

[ one of my VWW cats is also called Sorreltail. . . fun fact ]
Heronstrike could hardly keep his eyes open. He was now a warrior, but in all honesty, he felt like there was nothing left in him. What was the point of being around anymore when he was now the rank that he was working for over his moons of being in Snowclan? Well, he did still have the energy to look around the camp, now that he was confident enough to longer around the camp by himself.
Returning from the fresh-kill pile, the tom stopped by the entrance of the warriors' den, not yet wanting to enter the den to actually doze off. It was just too awkward - his sister would now be in the same den as him, not to mention Sorreltail. Once he finished devouring his quick midnight snack, he snorted, entering the den, and saw the cat whom lived almost the same experiences as him.
"Good evening." he whispered, seeing that Sorreltail was still up.

Hey Heronstrike." She murmured back. "How are you?" She lifted her head to look at him. "Can you believe we're warriors?" She gave a half hearted laugh and sighed at the end. "But...then why do I feel so...empty." She mumbled

"I'm alright, I guess." he shrugged, making his way into an empty bed, assuming that was his. Back in the apprentices' and nursery, the beds were already terrorized, but here? There were more strangers. "There's really nothing after this Sorreltail. We're just going to now grow old in the clan, eventually old enough to just sleep all day, or hopefully we'll die in a battle. That sounds more thrilling."
He then blinked, looking at her once more. "Or that's how I see it. How's warriorhood for you?"

She shrugged. "If I'm honest...dull. It's no fun with how small our clan is." She muttered looking bored.

"we can always secretly raid the other clans for their kits and bring them here." he suggested. "Icestar would be furious, but they will be Snowclan's."

No! Heron that's wrong! We aren't the bad people here!" She argued snapping her head up to glare at him.

"It was just a suggestion." he laughed, flicking his tail. "Or, we can just hope that kits arrive soon."

She shook her head and chuckled. "The only warriors there is who is able to have kits is me." She stated. "And that isn't going to happen case the only available guy well...is you." She stated emberessed to have this talk. "And you don't like me like that so that won't ever happen." She looked away

Heronstrike managed not to gag in front of Sorreltail, but still, it was a sickening thought - becoming a father and all. "Oh yeah, let's take that idea off the list too," he muttered. "Though Moondust is able to kit too I think?"

She shook her head. "Female deputies cannot have kits. Neither can leaders. Or so I've heard. But since we are not like other clans our rules are different." She frowned. "Though when you think about it I can understand why no female deputies can have kits. Because when they become a mother they will have to be off duty and stay in the nursery. And what happens if the leader is ill and unable to lead when the deputy is in the nursery? Replacement deputies is just grasping at straws because there aren't any other option with both high authority unable to lead." She commented

He took a while to digest everything that was being thrown at him, but agreed with her. Now that someone mentioned it, Moondust did have to tend the clan while Icestar was ill the last moon. "There should be a deputy's deputy in the clan too then. . . you know, if something were to happen to the deputy."

But that would be weird! She protested shaking her head. "It would be like a co-deputy. But really there's no point in a co-deputy." She looked away. "A co-deputy to me is just being a warrior who is under the command of a higher ranking. Which is basically what a second deputy would be like, only under the command of the deputy and leader." She buried her muzzle under her paws. "I'm sorry. When I talk like this it gets complicated and a mouthful to chew on ya know?"

A co-deputy. So that was the word, huh? He smiled, finding the she-cat to be rather appealing when stressed out. It was a different side of her, rather than the annoying personality that he was so used to. "It's fine." he mewed. "I mean, that confused me too, but I haven't seen stuff the way you do until you explained them."
Not that he was dumb or anything, but just stubborn.

She perked up some hearing that. "Oh. Haha yeah...I tend to over do something's when I stress out." She mumbled emberessed before clearing her throat. "So!"

Heronstrike shrugged, losing interest in the conversation. Warriorhood was a huge bore after all. "We should go on a hunt or something one of these days. It's not like we're going to go anywhere."

She hummed in agreement and nodded. "Yeah sure." She shifted restlessly. "How bout now? Unless your busy with something." She smirked lightly as she rose to her paws and shook her fur

"Of course I'm busy." he coughed. "I'm still talking to you, but maybe when this conversation's over."

She looked at him curiously before stating quite bluntly. "Why are you being social with me?" She questioned eying him. "I mean, after all, since kit hood you never liked me." She stated frowning. "So why are you being social? I understand it when we became apprentices and all cause you were stuck with me. But now that we are warriors, is have thought you'd ditch me and go with your sister Moondust." She moewed looking away with a stony look.

Why was he being so social? Wasn't that what warriors did all day? Just blab on about whatever? He frowned at her statement. It was not like if Moondust was available at the moment, and that Sorreltail was the only one around for now. "I thought that you would have enjoyed me talking to you." he growled, offended. "Maybe I will ditch you then."
The tom then got out of his nest and went back to the den entrance, furious.

If I didn't want you talking to me mouse brain I'd have told you. You don't get it!" She huffed as she pushed past him and out of the warriors den and I to the shade on the other side of camp. 'Stupid tom. He doesn't have to get so defensive over everything! He didn't understand!' Her frustration prickled her pelt. Making her want to claw her fur out. She shook her head angrily. 'Fine. If he wants to be that way then so be it. He can have Moondust to himself for all I care.' She huffed softly and looked over at the Leander's den area. Wondering if she should go to see Icestar, she hasn't seen nor talked to her leader in awhile since she became a warrior. But right now she was too frustrated for any confrontation with anyone. She glared at the warriors den before turned her back on it and curled up in a ball.

No, he did not get it. As she brushed passed him, the tom hissed, and went back to his nest, too angry to take a nap. Who cares? She's always been annoying me, so why should I even bother trying to speak to her? He began to claw up his nest, not knowing what he should do now.

After awhile she just got restless and kept shifting uncomfortable before she had had enough and rose. Stalking away from everything she exited the camp to take a walk in the forest to cool off.
