WillowleafThe sun was high in the sky, and most cats with enough sense had retreated to their dens. Groaning, Fallenpaw dragged herself out of her den and gave her short silver-furred coat a quick cleanse. Peeking outside, she hopped from shade-patch to shade-patch to finally get a couple of small mice out of the Freshkill pile. Leaping back to the Medicine Cat den, the silver tabby lay down in her nest again and finished off one of the mice. Padding to her mentor's nest, Fallenpaw prodded her mentor gently and whispered, "Would you like a mouse? And is it alright if we train?"

Willowleaf raised her head and let her jaw drop to release a yawn. The brown and gray she-cat had been very stressed lately and she figured a nap would do her well. With Snowclan's growing greed, it was harder to gather herbs that they were running short on. Turning her sleepy ivy eyes towards her apprentice she listened about a mouse. "Go chase it then," the she-cat said half asleep. Lowering her head once more, she curled up into a ball to fall back asleep. She was unaware that her apprentice has asked her about eating a mouse or training. Template by Meg❤

Fallenpaw shook her head lightly in amusement. She nudged her mentor slightly harder this time, carefully wafting the scent of mouse across to Willowleaf's nose. "Do you want a mouse? To eat?" She asked, a little louder this time. She pulled a straight face, trying to ignore the giggles.

Willowleaf wiggled her nose at the wonderful scent of mouse. Slowly, opening her eyes again she reached her head out to bite the mouse, but stumbled forward. Her nose landed right on the cold rocky floor of her den, "Ouch!" Now, the young she-cat was awake. Looking up at her apprentice, she smiled as she saw the mouse. "Is that for me?" Willowleaf didn't recall the first time Fallenpaw tried to wake her up, nor the words of the second time. Template by Me❤

Fallenpaw laughed - a light tinkling sound. "Yes, you can have it." She purred, dropping the mouse at her mentor's paws.

Willowleaf licked her lips as the sight of the delightful mouse. Lowering her head she took a big bite from the fleshy creature. The taste was amazing, but to be honest he liked the taste of honey. The she-cat devoured the mouse in a few minutes and licked her lips. "That was delightful, thank you Fallenpaw." Getting up from her nest, she shook her pelt and began to gather the remains of the eaten mouse. "So what were you up to when I was asleep?" Template by Meg❤

"Not much." Fallenpaw said, accepting the gratitude with a nod.
{short, sorry}

Looking at her apprentice with a funny face, she shook her head. "You are young Fallenpaw, you should enjoy every moment of your life. When we are not training or working, you should go out a play." Willowleaf used her brown and gray tail to give her apprentice a flick on the shoulder, then picked up the remains of the mouse she had eaten. Taking them outside, she dug a small hole and placed the bones inside. Covering it up, she looked around the clearing and saw that everything was peaceful. It was very comforting. Turning around, she walked backed into her den to speak with her apprentice once more.
"Alright Fallenpaw, let's check our supplies. We need to clean out old herbs, see what we are running low on, and then go get some more." Walking over to her wall that stored her herbs in small little cracks and holes. She began to sniff them and see how many of each she had. Thought, the she-cat didn't work as fast as she normally would, this was suppose to be a lesson for Fallenpaw. To see what she could do on her own without Willowleaf uttering a word of wisdom. Fallenpaw blinked. "Yes, Willowleaf. I'll try. I just don't really play much." She murmured. When Willowleaf exited the den, the silver tabby thought through what Willowleaf had said. "Ok." She replied when her mentor came back into the den. Turning around, she followed the gray and brown she-cat to the herbs on the wall. She also began sniffing at them, remembering their scents.

Willowleaf watched with calm ivy green eyes as her apprentice began to work. It made her think of her days as an apprentice. Her training was greatly rushed as her mentor held on to what life he had. They finished just in time, he passed away a few days after she had received her name. Willowleaf shook her head, this was no time for this. "Alright Fallenpaw, what do you think of our stores?"

Doge says... DEAL WITH IT. Fallenpaw blinked as she felt a cool gaze on her back. But she did not falter. She just kept on peeking into the cracks and checking their stores. Marigold... good. Cobweb... good. Dock... is that dock? Well, it's good. Um... thyme... I think... isn't good. She soon came to a sweet-smelling dent and she peeked it. Honey.... bad. She sighed. They needed more honey. And that meant bee stings. Willowleaf's voice snapped her out of her wake. Turning around, she tilted her head. "Everything I can name is good, apart from honey. I didn't check the unknown scents."
