Hello. I promise many things. But I give nothing away. You're welcome.
Brokendust looked at the empty food pile. Unsatisfied, he went out for a hunt. First he smelled a mouse, it was a few tail-lengths to the north. The warrior watched as the mouse scuttled to a nut and started nibbling on it. Creeping like a snake, Brokendust stalked the mouse then pounced, holding a tight grip on the mouse as it struggled under his paw. A rabbit was close by, so he hunted it as well. Brokendust didn't really have to move since it was so close. He just leaped and caught it. Problem solved. The warrior buried the rabbit and the mouse before lifting his head. A stream was close. Maybe he could score some fish? he was lucky. Three fish hung from his jaws as he walked back to the rabbit and the mouse. His paw soaked wet and he felt light-head from trying not to get her shadow on the water. Satisfied enough, he took his 5 pieces of prey back to camp. Brokendust, now tired from the hunt, started to drag the prey. It'll spoil! he scolded himself. Swinging his head up, the rest of his body dropped to the ground. "Help.. me... carry this.. prey," he breathed with little energy.

Duskpelt was just checking over the borders making sure that no one crossed over into their territory when he picked up a scent. He knew it was a Streamclan cat but he just didn't know which one of his clan mates it was. He looked over the border into the other territory before he turned around and padded towards the scent.
He padded quietly as he opened his mouth to get a better lead as to where this cat was headed too. He hoped onto a few stones to quickly get over the stream. Once he landed safely on the other side of the stream he stopped and noticed a cat just a few fox lengths away from the stream. Seems like their going back to camp. He dashed after the cat.
Once he reached their side he sighed with relief. "Hello their do you need help?" He asked as he noted his grand catch.

Hello. I promise many things. But I give nothing away. You're welcome.
Brokendust rasied his tail in the air out of happiness. "Oh, yes please!" he panted, dropping the prey on the ground and letting dust blow away. "And I thought I was a warrior! Can you help me with this prey?" he asked.

Duskpelt smiled. "Yes I know your a warrior. But I just want to help out." He explained. Nodding his head in agreement to him for letting him help. He looked down at his three fish and two mice. He looked up again at the other tom. "Oh yeah I'm Duskpelt by the way and you are?" He asked wondering what his name was.

Brokendust looked at Duskpelt. "Of course I know you! You're the deputy!" Brokendust shook his head jokingly. "Anyway, my name's Brokendust."

Duskpelt laughed out loud. It was nice talking to someone for once. "Nice to meet you Brokendust." He meowed with a smile. He sat down as his tail twitched back an forth but not out of anger or anything like that. "So are you headed back to camp?" He asked. He probably was headed back to camp but you never know is he was going to continuing hunting.

Brokendust nodded. "With this prey too," he mewed proudly. "I thought the clan could use some more food." Brokendust remembered the half-empty fresh-kill pile and shuttered at the memory.

Duskpelt nodded his head. So to camp we go. He sat quietly as he wrapped his tail over his paw neatly after getting tired of it flickering around. What a great warrior he is to hunt for prey all by himself for the clan, he thought. "Ah I see then. Well you seem like a very great warrior to the clan." He meowed proudly. Streamclan was one of the smallest clans their was out of all the clans, and their was hardly anybody but his leader, him, and Brokendust. Well that he knows of as of so far.
Remembering his catch he stood up as he looked down at the prey. He picked up the three fishes as he turned around to face Brokendust. "Alright we better get this to camp." He meowed through a muffled voice.

Brokendust smiled gratefully. "Ok," Picking up the mouse and the rabbit, Brokendust followed the deputy back to camp. He put the food onto the pile and flopped to his paws. Seeing the deputy stand tall, ben after carrying the fish, Brokendust felt like he admired Duskpelt more. "How do you cope?" she asked.

Duskpelt lead the whole way back to camp with the three fishes clamped in his jaws. Once they arrived into Streamclans camp he sighed with relief. He padded towards the fresh kill pile as he placed down Brokendust's catch. He turned around as his eyes scanned the clans camp. Nobody is nearly in site. He then faced Brokendust.
He smiled as he too flopped down onto the ground as he stretched out. What a day, but he now has someone to finally call a friend. And that is Brokendust. His face expressing lightened up at mere surprisement at Brokendust's question. Wondering why he had asked he spoke up. "Well you know you gotta go with the flow really. He chuckled. "But you also gotta stand up for the clan and everyone else." He meowed as his eyes gleamed.
He did go with the flow but... He also liked things to be fair.

"The flow..." murmured Brokendust. He turmed to face and glared at Duskpelt, his eyes held no hostility, as they were as hard as stone. Stone that would not crack, not even crack after many scolds. No place of hostility was within them "The clan turns on the leader, you can't decide which side to take, the clan disapproves of you as deputy and, as the leader hides in his den, you get striped from your rank as deputy, a worse deputy it chosen, he is ambitious. Too ambitious for his own good. The new deputy plans to attack all clans and rule the forest. What would you do?"

(I know I'm so sorry this is so sooo late)
Duskpelt slightly frowned as his light expression dissapeared. And a colder more serious expression shadowed over Brokendust face. Duskpelt lisned quietly as he spoke. He slowly bobbed his head ever so slightly as he wrinkled his brow, thinking. Wow that was a lot to take in. Now let's see how I'll sort this out... "Well first things first. I'll try to convince my clan-mates to not turn on our leader. I'll comfort my leader and help him out to gain more confidence in himself while I try my best to convince my clan-mates to not turn on our leader. But since I get striped of my rank by being disapproved by my clan-mates then I'll back down. But I'll still help my leader out as a good warrior shall do. Then I'll try my very best to find a way to show our clan and clan mates that they were wrong and to get rid of the newly selected deputy for his wrong doings and plans." He meowed as he gasped for a big breath of air. Yeah, thats probably what I'll do but I'll have to be in that situation to really know what I'll do.

Brokendust nodded, then apologized for such an in-depth question. "I'd be by your side," he mewed. The warrior grabbed a small mouse from the fresh-kill pile and ate it.

Duskpelt stretched out his legs as he handed watching Brokendust pick up a mouse to eat. "No it's ok no need to be sorry." He meowed with a slight smile. He would really pick my side? Wow. Duskpelt thought for a few moments before speaking up again. "We have very few warriors and cats in our clan. We're also the smallest. I just hope out clan can grow bigger soon, before anything bad starts to happen." He meowed with a slight sigh at the end. It's ture the needed more cats in their clan but there was hardly any indeed.

"Bad things," Brokendust murmured. His thoughts trailed off to Fallenheart. "There shouldn't be too much to worry about. Why would cats want to attack this clan?"
