As the early morning sun rised slowly Twilighrstar stretched and padded out of her den, trotting down to the apprentice den she spotted @ferguscat,
"@ferguscat, time for training, quick, we'll grab some fresh kill from the pile on the way out of camp, I'm gonna show you the territory today remember?!"Twilightstar meowed smiling, she planned to show her apprentice as much as she could today so that the rest of the apprentice ship could be spent working on battle moves and hunting skills...

Goldenpaw opened her eyes. She was still drowsy but was determined to make her first day worth it. "Ok," she murmured. "But can't we just hunt our own food?" |

Twilightstar smiled at the young apprentices eagerness,
"We could but then we wouldn't have enough time to see all the territory, we will hunt tomorrow afternoon if thats okay with you?" She meowed, explaining her reasoning to her apprentice, Twilightstar hoped to teach her apprentice the basics of hunting the next day...

Goldenkit moaned. "Fine! Where will we start? At..." Goldenkit thought for a destination point her mother had told her when she was in the nursery. Come to think of it, she never spent any time with her mother. "Ok," she decided she wouldn't mention that. "Let's go." Goldenkit took a small shrew from the pile, eager to fill it rather than empty it, and looked up at her leader and her mentor, the Twilightstar. |

Twilightstar smiled at her new apprentice, Goldenpaw was obviously still growing up... Taking a mouse from the pile she padded over to the exit to the camp,
"Alright, lets go, we'll head over to the Sunclan border first and work our way from there..." Twilightstar meowed smiling at her apprentice.

(Smacks palm to forehead- there is no Fireclan I was doing V dub and got mixed up, i'll edit my post so that it says Sunclan we'll go to sunclan then Snowclan,)
Twilightstar looked back at her apprentice and nodded,
"We will visit the Sunclan border first and then the Snowclan border that is correct" She meowed affirmingly.
(Sorry about da Fireclan thing xD)

(Yup, sure thing  ) Twilightstar smiled, she'd forgotten her apprentice knew absoloutely nothing about the territory... "The border with Sunclan is towards the right, follow me," She meowed, Twilightstar then began padding steadily towards the Sunclan border, it would probably take them about 10 minutes to get there if they moved quickly, then 5 minutes to get to the Snowclan border, and they'd stop by the edge of their territory bordering on the loners territory last before heading back to camp for some quick battle tips if Goldenpaw wasn't already exhausted by then... |

Goldenpaw hared after Twilighstar, excitement running through her legs. The territory was large. Very large indeed. Trees were everywhere, grasses tangled around Goldenpaw's legs and broke. Soon she'd be invincible, able to deny all attacks. "This is amazing!" she meowed. |

Twilightstar grinned, eager to show Goldenpaw her favorite tree she broke into a trot, after a few seconds they come across a large sturdy oak tree, its leaves full with acorns, without hesitating Twilightstar took s running jump onto one of the lower branches,
"Lesson one Goldenpaw, the trees are your friends, learn to climb them and you'll be safe from any Fox attack, and many clan battles too, Come on then, try and climb it" Twilightstar meowed encouragingly. She wanted as many cats as possible in Twilightclan to be able to climb trees extra well, because the leader was aware that Twilightclan was not the strongest clan at the moment she knew that climbing trees would be a great asset- if a stronger clan attacked and Twilightclan was in peril some of the clan could help lift the kittens and Elders up into the trees to keep them safe while the warriors and apprentices were battling...

Goldenpaw nodded and sunk her four claws into the branch. Her paws wrapped around the trunk, as if she were hugging it. Releasing one claw, she carefully raised it and put in onto the trunk again, but higher. She continued until she reached the first branch, but was slow. Goldenpaw was unaware of how her mentor would react. "I did it!" she mewed joyfully. |

Twilightstar smiled at her apprentice, luckily Twilightstar had a plan if the young apprentice couldn't manage the jump, but she'd try to get Goldenpaw to jump by herself first...
"Yes, that is the general idea, if that seems hard you can do a bit of a vertical run down the tree before jumping" twilightstar meowed encouragingly...

Goldenkit's eyes widened. She gulped. Vertically? Was that even possible. She explained her worries with her mentor. "Has a cat ever ran vertically before?" Not waiting for an answer (Although one would be nice,) she jumped, her paws waving everywhere. She wasn't as high as she thought. It would be seconds before she hit the ground and broke her legs. "Now?" she scream, panic raising. Forget how scared her was before. She was panicking. Panicking right down to her fate. |

Twilightstar grinned her apprentice had a bit to learn, seeing that her apprentice could potentially hurt herself she ran underneath Goldenpaw, knowing that a tigers thick fur would cushion the younger cats landing... "Goldenpaw, I meant run vertically at the very beginning before you jump, but never mind, we'll try climbing again tomorrow, we've got to get on to the other territories now" She meowed, and began slowly padding towards the Sunclan border, she also had to show her apprentice where the Med cat meeting place was but that could wait... Twilightstar stifled a grin at the young apprentice, and sped up to a steady padding pace, coming to the scent lines she halted,
"Goldenpaw, this is the Sunclan borderline, never cross it unless you are going to a gathering or you have a deputy or leader with you, can you smell SUnclans scent marks?" She meowed encouargingly...

Twilightstar nodded seeing the apprentices point she explained a bit more,
"Yes, but the cats there may agrue that we were breaking the warrior code or something... We wouldn't want anything like that now would we?" She meowed carefully, not wanting her apprentice to get any hint that the gatherings weren't always completely peaceful- there wasn't any violence of course, but there wasn't exactly Peace either...

Goldenpaw jogged (can cats jog?) after Twilightstar. "Why... do.. we need to... know." Goldenpaw stopped in front of her mentor and took a deep breath. "Why do we need to know where the medicine cat meeting place is when we're not medicine cats ourselves?" she asked quickly. |

(No they can't but there is a cat equivilent- Trotting, it doesn't matter anyway- I know what ya mean ) Twilightstar grinned at her apprentice, "Because if we needed to find a med cat for any reason from another clan we'd go there, and because the med cat meeting place makes aa great marking position if your ever lost in our territory- you can usually find a border- you just follow the border along to you get to the one place where the Sunclan and Snowclan border lines cross over, then you just walk around 20 body lengths forward and you'll get to the med cat meeting place- from there it is usually easy to find your way home- though if your still not sure for whatever reason just stay at the med cat meeting place till the next med cat meeting and I'm sure one of the med cats would take you home, that is why you've got to know where the med cat meeting place is!" Twilightstar meowed patiently... |

Goldenpaw always admired Skyclan. But never really... relied on them much. "No," she mewed. "Just knowing where it is... That's fine." Goldenpaw quickly turned her back to the medicine cat meeting place and Skyclan. |
