Fernkit sat alone in the nursery as she studied the big den. She let out a tiny yawn as she looked around. She seemed to be the only kit around. She frowned at the thought of being alone her whole lifetime till she became an apprentice. It seemed helpless to her. She stood up as she stumbled to her side a bit. She fixed her position in till she could stand straight. She put on paw forward and then the other one after that as she took her first little steps in an attempt to walk. She made her way towards the dens entrance as she felt a cool breeze brush past her. She shivered a bit but it didn't really bother her. She looked outside as her bright green eyes took in the site of the calm for the first time ever.
