Moondust quickly marked the jutting rock and padded along to the next border marker, the scent glands in her paws leaving a trail of scent. A familliar scent drifted twards her. So she parted her jaw to drink in the sweet scent of Phantomshadow. The scent was coming from the Twilightclan side of the border. She sat at the newly marked border, wrapping her tail around her jet black paws.

The tom was making a round on his patrols to make sure all was well. He scented a familiar smell closer to Snowclan as he neared. Frowning to himself he was going to just pass by and continue on when he saw Moondust, the snowclan's deputy waiting at the border. He smoothed his frown back into his poker face before padding closer. Stopping a few paw steps from the borderline. "Greetings Moondust of Snowclan." He murmured Boeing his head in greetings.

Moondust purred, dipping her grey and black head. "Greetings, Phantomshadow. All well, I hope?" She meowed, rising to her jet black paws. Her fur crawled when she was around the white Tom.

All is silent and peaceful. Considering our clan is small and just getting started. We are fine. And Snowclan is doing well to I presume?" He inquired politely .

Moondust nodded, her beautiful pelt a bit ruffled. Quickly, she smoothed down her fur, a bit embarrassed. "You know, we're gonna have to start meeting." She meowed, looking at the gathering storm clouds. The wind swirled, and a sour scent reached her scent glands. She could just see a tornado forming loosely in the distance. "How far away is your camp?" She added, eyes the clouds as a drop of rain plopped on her head. "Mine is very close. There's a tornado coming. If we must, I know a cave that we could go to for a while. It crossed over our borders."

Now he frowned. "I do not believe we should keep meeting. People will get the wrong idea. And we have our duties to perform. And my camp is not far. Rain will not deter me."
(I'm not sure if its a good idea to create a hurricane without permission. Just say its a storm for now. So you won't get in trouble.)
He didn't even flinch when water began raining down on them. Drenching both their pelts. He looked up at the dreary sky blankly. "On second thought. The cave would be nice right now." He murmured rising to his paws and flicking his tail In signal to show the way.

He followed her towards the cave. Seeing it up ahead he quickened his pace until he darted inside. Shaking his drenched white fur and sighed in irritation. Looking back towards Moondust. "You alright?" He asked blinking at her a moment before turning to stare out at the storm. "I pray to sky clan this storm passes soon. I do not wish Twilightstar to panic by my absence." He murmured to himself.

Moondust nodded as she entered. "I'm fine. And I would think she has more confidence not to fret over her deputy." Moondust meowed, padding to a small corner to shake off her drenched pelt. Water sprayed everywhere, but when she finnially stopped, a roll of thunder boomed outside the cave and a claw if lightning struck the sky, almost right I ear the Twilightclan's camp. She closed her eyes, trying not to imagine anything bad like that happening. She had just finished two makeshift nests for them to sleep in, considering it was almost moonhigh. The rain still poured, and Moondust just lied in her nest, watching the rain and lightning with a sigh and blank eyes.

He did not flinch only blinked in surprise. "Does a friend not have the right to worry about another in such conditions?" He challenged softly not looking at her. "It is not of faith in her deputy. More of worry for a friend." He lied down on the ground just inside the cover of the cave and looked out

I never said that. She does have the right to worry , but why fret over you? You can take care of yourself. She has faith in you. That's all I'm saying." Moondust answered calmly. Her tail swished and her ears listened to the rain. "I think that she may be worried, but not to much. She knows that you know what your doing." She added, closing her eyes and taking a light nap.

Good point." She meowed, flicking her ear. "Then hopefully Icestar will not worry too much about my absence." Moondust added, closing her eyes. Her long, moon colored fur was lifted and twirled by the delicate wind.

He hummed in agreement and stayed silent. "Moondust. Why did you suggest we meet again?" He asked thoughtfully. "You know that cannot happen."

I've no idea. I just blurted it out, I couldn't help it." Moondust answered with her eyes still closed, just listening to the rain. Her ears flicked, and her tail swished in a motion for him to lay in his nest. "Get some sleep."

I'm fine where I am thank you." He replied. He did not sleep not did he press into a conversation only sat there at the edge of the cave. His face illuminating by the flash of lightning every now and then. His green eyes reflecting each streak of light in the stormy skies.
Finally at last he lied down into a better position and rested his head on his paws. Eyes closed but wry much aware of what was going on. But the rolling thunder and the steady beat of rain lulled him into sleep.

When Moondust realized that Phantomshadow was asleep, she stood and looked out of the den. The rain still poured out of the sky, and lightning still raked the sky. Thunder jarred her, but she didn't notice. She decided she would go hunting. She departed the den, and returned with 2 mice dangiling from her jaw.

He cracked one eye open to peer at her. "How in sky clans name did you get prey? It's raining like the very skies are crying out there." He muttered closing his eye again and yawned.

Luck? I found theses things taking cover under a shrub." Moondust answered. She plopped one down at his paws and laied in her nest next to him before plopping down her mouse.

He tilted his head peering at the mouse thoughtfully before giving Moondust a grateful nod before biting into the fresh kill.

Yum lol my mums making fondu  ) He finished his meal quickly before rising to his paws. "I'll be outside. It is not raining as hard." He moewed softly before disappearing outside and leapt onto a boulder and sat down. Letting the rain soak his fur. |

Moondust nodded as she finished her mouse, then follows him out. The sky was still dark grey with heavy rain clouds, but Moondust just lied down and was soothed by the wet, coolness of the rain.

He frowned slightly and looked at her from the corner of his eye. Before returning to the view. "The rain won't deter me on my journey back to my camp." He rose to his paws and leapt off the rock. "I must leave you now." He moewed turning to leave. "Until next time Moondust if Snowclan." He moewed before heading into the forest.
