Fernshadow laid down under a pine tree as she eat her mouse. She tucked one of her paws neatly under her chest and she kept the other one the mouse to keep it still while she took a bite. It was a nice and warm night as she enjoyed the warmness and slight breezes. She saw moment in the darkness as her bright green eyes narrowed. "Who's there." She snapped |

A white form padded from the shadows. "You can relax Fernshadow it is just me." the tom murmured with a flicker of amusement in his green eyes as he padded nearer and sat beside her.

Fernshadow relaxed. "Hey there." She meowed as she nodded her head in greetings. To the tom. "So what brings you around here?" She asked looking around in the dark.

Fernshadow have him a slight smile. "Patrolling alone in the dark? Well that's nice." She meowed with a chukle. "As for me I was just taking a walk you know out and about." She paused for a second. "I couldn't sleep." She confessed

He nodded thoughtfully. "i see. Is everything alright?" He turned to look at her. "I wouldn't want my clan mate to be restless and have lack of sleep all the time."

Fernshadow looked sat up as she licked her chest fiercely. "I'm fine just I couldn't sleep this night for some reason. But it's no be deal." She meowed as she swiped her tail over her paws neatly.

She stood up and stretched as she yawned. "Well we should head back to camp." She meowed quickly. "But let's see who will make it there first!" She yelp as she dashed of disappearing ti not the darkness. Not knowing if her was following her she laughed a little bit. A cool breeze tugged at her pelt as a shiver ran down her spine. She slowed down a bit as she looked around.

He did not follow her or run. Just calmly rose to his paws and headed back towards camp. 'Will when they all realize I'm not like most cats?' He sighed to himself

Fernshadow padded back to camp wandering were Phantomshadow was. I guess he didn't want to run. She gave a puzzled look but she continued to walk not going back to find him. He is old enofe to take care of himself if he wanted to he could catch up to her.
